Month, Day: Dominion, Dominion (Grace)
There are many ways to go wrong; these two are categorically complete. Our daily review of ourselves and our moments would include consideration of how much we were obtuse (blinded, is one limit) or errant (measurement concerns). That is, sinned.
SÚRIY-I-VAFÁ (Tablet to Vafá): Thou hast moreover asked Me concerning the ordinances of God. Know thou of a truth that whatsoever hath been prescribed in the Book is indeed the truth, no doubt is there about it, and it is incumbent upon everyone to observe that which hath been sent down by Him Who is the Revealer, the All-Knowing. Were a man to put them away despite his being aware thereof, God would truly be clear of such a one and We too would be clear of him, inasmuch as His ordinances constitute the fruits of the divine Tree and none other than the heedless and the wayward will deviate therefrom.
Too, such scrutiny may reflect upon others, as that type of thing seems to be human nature. But, we are to overlook faults and not judge the sinner (see Iqan #213, True Seeker: He should forgive the sinful, and never despise his low estate, for none knoweth what his own end shall be.), other than ourselves.
Here is an interesting thing. We can build an ontological view upon just this.

Two times
Month, Day: Dominion, Knowledge (Grace)
In a proper science, we can (will) find sufficiency.
7V4V, Unity: In thine outward appearance, thou tellest of the appearance of power in the realms of divine creation; in thine inward being thou revealest the hidden mysteries which are the divine trust deposited within thee.
SAQ #15: These virtues do not appear from the reality of man except through the power of God and the divine teachings, for they need supernatural power for their manifestation. It may be that in the world of nature a trace of these perfections may appear, but they are unstable and ephemeral; they are like the rays of the sun upon the wall.

Two lives
Month, Day: Dominion, Mercy (Justice)
Both born on 02/12/1809, Lincoln and Darwin are of interest to the topics of this blog. The former is notable for many reasons (from the rough hewn times of the US), being autodidact is an important one. We'll defer that discussion for another time as knowing is a central theme here.
The latter (from an older culture) will get more worldwide attention. In regard to the continuing debate (in some minds, a closed case), a brief list of related Writings may be in order.

We can know
Month, Day: Sovereignty, Loftiness (Independence)
Of course, Questions are a gift and the basis for science.
Spiritual Springtime says it all: "Day and night you must strive that you may attain to the significances of the heavenly kingdom, perceive the signs of divinity, acquire certainty of knowledge and realize that this world has a creator, a vivifier, a provider, an architect,—knowing this through proofs and evidences and not through susceptibilities,—nay, rather, through decisive arguments and real vision; that is to say, visualizing it as clearly as the outer eye beholds the sun. In this way may you behold the presence of God and attain to the knowledge of the holy, divine Manifestations."
That is the essence of the 'tudes (see Asides, both 'apti' and 'atti') for pursuing knowledge (in its most broad sense).
Remarks:
10/11/2009 -- Will, an operational imperative for science.

More Questions
Month, Day: Sovereignty, Questions (Perfection)
Questions are a major theme, with the monthly renewal. Not that we cannot ask audacious questions, daily, in our review.
So, here are a few.
Remarks:
12/06/2009 -- The Motivational implies goals and actions.
08/16/2009 -- The Operational group is approaching, and ontology is primal. One area of focus, as suggested by this post, will be mind-body studies. Somehow, insights from the Writings ought to have importance, teleological and operational.
06/11/2009 -- Science and Religion.
02/06/2009 -- The Book that will be used to augment 7V4V, for some deep study.
If you look at the world, you see those with and those without. That applies to any attribute, yet money collection (the supposed rich state) and intelligence are a couple that are obvious in their possible measurements -- the former more so than the latter (thanks, Stephen Jay Gould, 1941-2002). But, in terms of the latter, the idiot on this side may very well be on an upper part of the above-mentioned hierarchies on the other. You see, the IQ (of which those who process better here and gloat thereby),as an operational means, has no bearing on the measuring a soul's worth; in fact, too much of the IQ can be as deadly as is money to the rich guy (parable of the camel and the eye's needle).
Why even mention this? Well, true science will be non-elitist and will be such that any who desires to do so can contribute. So, institutional comparative worthiness would take a back seat to the true human-based endeavor that will be necessary for us to really progress as inhabitants of space and time via nature's earth.
Too, time is only on this side. Let's say that as measured by the clocking mechanisms. Yet, as hierarchies imply, there is order. So, event ordering is very much a persistent phenomenon, even though each moment is really the whole.

Questions are a major theme, with the monthly renewal. Not that we cannot ask audacious questions, daily, in our review.
So, here are a few.
- -- There are hierarchies, in the Kingdom (to wit, see Wikipedia). Of course, we have divisions along all sorts of axes in Creation. These we can learn via science, in the most general view of our ability to know. Is that Kingdom heirarchy, by necessity, shown in the life in the natural world, that is, what we see within human existence? Why ask? Well, we are to strive. Accomplishment trinkets accrue in various situations.
- -- There is a weekly Attribute of Independence. How far does Independent Investigation of the Truth carry for individual endeavor? There is a balance, we know, since 'groups' are mentioned in several contexts in the Writings. But, look how the 'groupal' mind of science has seemed to have gone far astray. Hence, the necessity of audacity (as mentioned above and elsewhere) seems to be a given.
- -- In terms of the hierarchies (above), are these in any way related to the 'smarts' as we see them measured and demonstrated in the natural realm? Well, we could probably say not really and not be far off the mark. Iqan, 233: "The understanding of His words and the comprehension of the utterances of the Birds of Heaven are in no wise dependent upon human learning. They depend solely upon purity of heart, chastity of soul, and freedom of spirit."
