More Questions

Month, Day: Sovereignty, Questions (Perfection)

Questions are a major theme, with the monthly renewal. Not that we cannot ask audacious questions, daily, in our review.

So, here are a few.
  • -- There are hierarchies, in the Kingdom (to wit, see Wikipedia). Of course, we have divisions along all sorts of axes in Creation. These we can learn via science, in the most general view of our ability to know. Is that Kingdom heirarchy, by necessity, shown in the life in the natural world, that is, what we see within human existence? Why ask? Well, we are to strive. Accomplishment trinkets accrue in various situations.
  • -- There is a weekly Attribute of Independence. How far does Independent Investigation of the Truth carry for individual endeavor? There is a balance, we know, since 'groups' are mentioned in several contexts in the Writings. But, look how the 'groupal' mind of science has seemed to have gone far astray. Hence, the necessity of audacity (as mentioned above and elsewhere) seems to be a given.
  • -- In terms of the hierarchies (above), are these in any way related to the 'smarts' as we see them measured and demonstrated in the natural realm? Well, we could probably say not really and not be far off the mark. Iqan, 233: "The understanding of His words and the comprehension of the utterances of the Birds of Heaven are in no wise dependent upon human learning. They depend solely upon purity of heart, chastity of soul, and freedom of spirit."
Aside note: These posts may indicate some 'tude, to particular viewpoints, yet consider that there is 'apti' as well as 'atti' in the use. The former pertains to operational effectiveness; the latter? Well, though it can run a gamut, it is neither unnecessary nor undesirable (think Independence).

Remarks:
12/06/2009 -- The Motivational implies goals and actions.

08/16/2009 -- The Operational group is approaching, and ontology is primal. One area of focus, as suggested by this post, will be mind-body studies. Somehow, insights from the Writings ought to have importance, teleological and operational.

06/11/2009 -- Science and Religion.

02/06/2009 -- The Book that will be used to augment 7V4V, for some deep study.

If you look at the world, you see those with and those without. That applies to any attribute, yet money collection (the supposed rich state) and intelligence are a couple that are obvious in their possible measurements -- the former more so than the latter (thanks, Stephen Jay Gould, 1941-2002). But, in terms of the latter, the idiot on this side may very well be on an upper part of the above-mentioned hierarchies on the other. You see, the IQ (of which those who process better here and gloat thereby),as an operational means, has no bearing on the measuring a soul's worth; in fact, too much of the IQ can be as deadly as is money to the rich guy (parable of the camel and the eye's needle).

Why even mention this? Well, true science will be non-elitist and will be such that any who desires to do so can contribute. So, institutional comparative worthiness would take a back seat to the true human-based endeavor that will be necessary for us to really progress as inhabitants of space and time via nature's earth.

Too, time is only on this side. Let's say that as measured by the clocking mechanisms. Yet, as hierarchies imply, there is order. So, event ordering is very much a persistent phenomenon, even though each moment is really the whole.
