Month, Day: 183 Beauty, Beauty (Majesty)

Theme for the day (True Seeker). 

He will contemplate he manifest signs of the universe, and will penetrate the hidden mysteries of the soul. 

Gazing with the eye of God, he will perceive within every atom a door that leadeth him to the stations of absolute certitude.

Contentment

Month, Day: 183 Glory, Glory (Independence)

Theme for the day. 

The Seven Valleys: From sorrow he turneth to bliss, and from grief to joy, and from anguish and dejection to delight and rapture.

Although, to outward seeming, the wayfarers in this valley may dwell upon the dust, yet inwardly they are throned in the heights of mystic meaning; they partake of the eternal bounties of heaven and drink of the delicate wines of the spirit.

Sun cycles

Month, Day: 182, Loftiness, Light (Independence)

There are many motivations for our thinking of the Attributes that roll through our lives every day of the month and the month of the year. Over the years since 2009, we have had many variants and permutations on the theme.

This is a major one. 

Aqdas #142: Verily, He revealed certain laws so that, in this Dispensation, the Pen of the Most High might have no need to move in aught but the glorification of His own transcendent Station and His most effulgent Beauty.

Today, we want to switch from the 5 groups of 4 to one of 4 groups of 5. That would allow a map to the seasons. 

• Spring (Mar) -- Splendour, Glory, Beauty, Grandeur, Light   -- Transcendent
• Summer (Jun) -- Mercy, Words, Perfection, Names, Might  -- Teleological
• Fall (Sep) -- Will, Knowledge, Power, Speech, Questions -- Operational/Motivational 
• Winter (Dec) -- Honour, Sovereignty, Dominion, ..., Loftiness --  Ascendant

Several things come to mind, Light (Teleological) lines up with Might (Operational) as both representing power and energy. Questions (Motivational) is stressed; one might say, as opposed to Answers. Loftiness (Ascendant to Transcendent) ends and starts the Baha'i year.

These four are the months in which the Group changes occur. 

Finally, with respect to the Months of the Year, the "..." represents the Intercalary Days that are between the months of Dominion and Loftiness.

Gleanings 82,3:

Much hath been written in the books of old concerning the various stages in the development of the soul, such as concupiscence, irascibility, inspiration, benevolence, contentment, Divine good-pleasure, and the like; the Pen of the Most High, however, is disinclined to dwell upon them. Every soul that walketh humbly with its God, in this Day, and cleaveth unto Him, shall find itself invested with the honor and glory of all goodly names and stations.
