Month, Day: 171, Might, Words (Beauty)
Earlier, we noted that Blaise was 200 years prior to the Revelation. That was written in the context of looking at symmetry (very important). Along that same line of thought, Leonhard Euler was 137 years. We will be getting back to him and his work in a more full senses (considering his personal philosophical views).
---
John von Neumann was 59 years, on this side. Be that as it may, let's use one of his notions. He is quoted thusly (paraphrase): with mathematics, we don't get understanding; we get used to it. So, we could talk inurement and more, say habits. That is, we work at things in order to get some semblance of mastery. Yet, that is illusory when dealing with complex subjects.
If you do not see that, go ponder the Valleys beyond Unity and 1 & 2. Again, be that as it may, we see the world being overlaid insidiously with misused mathematics (oh Lord, please deliver us). That topic has been broached here; we'll be getting back to it.
Basically, though, when we see people working in the abstract'd spaces, imagination is key. So, too, do we see thought brought to bear. See where I'm going (the Master's model - note post on Hitch)? How would we see comprehension come into play.
Well, it is not as tricky as one might think. Audacious? Perhaps.
Remarks:
10/30/2014 -- Symmetry.
09/16/2014 -- Of yes, did not mention memory. Well, we do know that seeing patterns, recognizing them, matching up with what we have seen already, and such things are memory dependent. And, the better this facility, the better one can be at handling the details.
