Friction and more

Month, Day: 167, Will, Perfection (Perfection)

Looking at the sequence that starts with concupiscence, and then irascibility, what motivates the next step (which we'll go into later after some rumination with this theme)?

That is, if one uses an emergence theme, as we see with science, in trying to explain, and interpret, what we see, on what basis does one go beyond the teeming masses (which metaphor applies to many things)? There is a big leap from describing what is to then trying to show how things came about. Or, ought I say many big leaps?

As a hint, there is this to ponder (as we reflect) which relates to the theme being discussed. Aqdas (#58): Beware lest the desires of the flesh and of a corrupt inclination provoke divisions among you. Be ye as the fingers of one hand, the members of one body. Thus counselleth you the Pen of Revelation, if ye be of them that believe.

There are many desires which drive a progression toward continuation of life, over time, which, then, we hope fruits into some type of maturity and which we expect that we can define (the goal, for some anyway). At some point, moderating influences will have irritated and guided, as necessary. But, they may not have, too.

Hence, the very apparent imbalances that are observable. And, for many of these, many types of rationalizations have been proposed, some of which have taken hold (at least, for those who benefit from such - for those who suffer (the majority), not so much -- these are reduced to hoping for justice).
