Perfection allows that we always have, and can know, ideals.

HW #76: Guidance hath ever been given by words, and now it is given by deeds.

SAQ #54: Now the writing emanates from the writer, and the discourse emanates from the speaker, and in the same way the human spirit emanates from God.

Groups and cusps

Month, Day: Splendour, Grandeur (Grace)
Month, Day: Splendour, Light (Justice)

We're on the cusp of the transition between groups, from Transcendent (Splendour, Glory, Beauty, Grandeur) to Teleological (Light, Mercy, Words, Perfection). The former is beyond words. The latter includes Words. What a sequence for the latter! Light, then Mercy! One can think of many things; starting with that told in the Book of Genesis and then pondering clouds in all their aspects can be wonderful. In terms of the latter, clouds shield us from sun, for instance; too, the bountiful rain (which is a metaphor for a whole bunch of things) arises thusly.

These groups will be central to the reflective focus this year. Since the structure is there, it has to be studied.

Can't wait for the onset of the Operational and Motivational months, yet each month until then will allow suitable preparatory work.

New Year 166

Month, Day: Splendour, Splendour (Glory)

SAQ #42: In like manner, the Holy Manifestations of God are the centers of the light of reality, of the source of mysteries, and of the bounties of love. They are resplendent in the world of hearts and thoughts, and shower eternal graces upon the world of spirits; They give spiritual life and are shining with the light of realities and meanings. The enlightenment of the world of thought comes from these centers of light and sources of mysteries. Without the bounty of the splendor and the instructions of these Holy Beings the world of souls and thoughts would be opaque darkness. Without the irrefutable teachings of those sources of mysteries the human world would become the pasture of animal appetites and qualities, the existence of everything would be unreal, and there would be no true life.

Upward

Month, Day: Loftiness, Sovereignty (Justice)

Last year, the first one, there were only three posts during the Fast: Light, Power, and Honour. This year there are only three: Glory, Perfection, and today. There'll be no other until the New Year (166).

Each day brings new themes. And, they can stack in an accretion of knowledge. Hence, the basis for an ontology.

Too, we'll traverse these again, more slowly, as each month grinds through its days.

Expect more on the theme of the groups: Transcendent, Teleological, Operational, Motivational, and then Ascendant.

Not only do we go round and round, never ending or repeating (and, this we can know), we pass through, and react to, something that we can describe (more on this later), with science, since we can ask Questions.

Partly due to the fact that we do not have the Manifestation here, we have experimentation (the essence of true science) and the inevitable conflict resolution (UHJ).

Perfection squared

Month, Day: Loftiness, Perfection (Perfection)

We see a square day in the month of Perfection, yet it could be a triple day with the month, day of the month, and the day of the week all the same. The other Attributes that can be thusly aligned are Glory and Beauty.

Light is just past, followed by Mercy.

Light? Yes, it goes amongst all worlds. Interesting possibilities can arise from proper reflection on this. Is that allowed? Well, science is as open as it can be, and limit testing is allowed. Otherwise? What good would science be? Too, real limits would become known, as we saw with Heisenberg's insights.

Aqdas #126: In the Bayán it had been forbidden you to ask Us questions. The Lord hath now relieved you of this prohibition, that ye may be free to ask what you need to ask, but not such idle questions as those on which the men of former times were wont to dwell.

From Wonderment: “O Son, if thou art able not to sleep, then thou art able not to die. And if thou art able not to waken after sleep, then thou shalt be able not to rise after death.”

Too, Light is involved with connections, as we see with this bit-oriented space with which we are enthralled.

From Wonderment: Consider the difference between these two worlds and the mysteries which they conceal, that thou mayest attain to divine confirmations and heavenly discoveries and enter the regions of holiness.

Mercy. Yes, a necessity.

The real mystery? Words!

As said before, the order of the Attributes has some type of meaning for us. For instance, one can think of groupings, like this. A caveat, to anticipate undo criticism, is that this is only one of an infinitely large set of arrangements.

• Splendour, Glory, Beauty, Grandeur -- Aqdas #142: Verily, He revealed certain laws so that, in this Dispensation, the Pen of the Most High might have no need to move in aught but the glorification of His own transcendent Station and His most effulgent Beauty.

The Times of the Year

Each year, there is some overlap of Lent and the Fast leading to reflections on Christ's time in the desert.

SAQ #34: Christ, hungry and without shelter, ate herbs in the wilderness, and was unwilling to hurt the feelings of anyone.
Apropos to the subject, of course, is the principle of Progressive Revelation, with this time of the year blessed with a grace not there during the remainder. So, efforts, of certain sorts, at this time seem to have results of greater magnitude, where measurement is implied as being of relative palpables.

The sorts? For one, dialectics oriented around, and toward, insights. It is this that somehow is missed by the arguments of the brights.

For another, sensing what this Day is about and why. Of use, too, is the collective of Attributes as we see with each day of the month.
