Basic matters, ii

Month, Day: 167, Dominion, Dominion (Majesty)

Anyone know how many Basic matters there are for us to consider? Quite a few, actually.

So, we'll persist, slowly, with the effort, hopefully toward enlightenment. Yet, would that be of the few or of the many?

Some themes that need attention pertain to things related to the development of human qualities (so many), to the evolution of the artifacts that are our creation (embedded in Creation), to the necessary inclusions that have been so adamantly denied successfully to date, and much more.

Middle way

Month, Day: 167, Sovereignty, Honour (Majesty)

The Most Holy Book (#43): Lament not in your hours of trial, neither rejoice therein; seek ye the Middle Way which is the remembrance of Me in your afflictions and reflection over that which may befall you in future. Thus informeth you He Who is the Omniscient, He Who is aware.

Much to consider, about this. Is hubris, especially that related to victory of the many sorts, of the middle? Does this not suggest how deep is that which motivates those who might be in trouble to think of God? And, part of the now is to be reflecting on the future?

So we need to remind ourselves, among other things, that any accomplishment results from using talents, and resources, that were given to one. Too, efforts at epistemological understanding, accompanied by due concern for mitigation of undesirable effects, are on the platter.
